Don’t look away

When someone is suffering because of their mental health, a lot of people tend to turn their backs on them. Maybe they don’t want to see, maybe they can’t or won’t shoulder what they think of as a burden.
Meanwhile, your heart can feel like it’s being gnashed by hard, relentless teeth, and then spat out in the cold.
Have the guts to face depression and its ugly, shriveled face. Don’t look away.
